Plain striped cotton tees are great, but they're more of a wardrobe bonus than a basic so yeah, it's time to step your game up and invest in a knit.

Horizontal stripes can add width, if you're concerned go for vertical stripes or a solid dark knit.

Does it have to be a knit? I have a couple of striped tees I wear often but they're all standard cotton. Should I step up my game?

Also: what do you make of the striped tees widening aesthetic? For the huskier body type, it might not be the best look? Please advise.
